Driving down first thing tomorrow morning to Fort Mill SC to look at a car
Thougth about hitting the gun show in Charlotte on the way back, but anything I should see while Im in Ft. Mill?

That might be close to Nichols. Cool little outdoor/gun store.

Oh, and there is some little farmer’s market store down there somewhere that’s pretty cool. They sell a bunch of the Pucker Butt sauces.

What you WILL see there are a bunch of well off liberal Charlottean's living there.

You should hit Hyatt's on the way out just to see what we're talking about when we mention Hyatt's. It's not that far off I-77 or I-85.

the high price place? lol

That's their reputation. But, they're negotiable. And they have one of the largest selections around. It's a busy place.

Peach Stand has good bacon, and Pucker Butt is downtown (started by guy that created the Carolina Reaper). There is also a high school with five football fields, a softball field, a soccer field, a baseball field, a band practice field, and track if you just want to see something over the top.

Y'all should ride together and film it.

Nope. I get to clean guns, mow the lawn, shop, cook dinner and do laundry so I’ll be able to wake up at 5 am on Sunday and drive 2 hours to watch my daughter play volleyball for 6 or 10 hours before driving 2 hours home. I live a life of glamor.

High...and no respect for your 2nd amendment rights.

The most Fuddy anti-gun LGS owner I know of. You know something ain’t right when he’s the go-to person the local news channels want to interview.

I’ve seen the signs many times for Nichols (my dad lives in Ft Mill) but I’ve never been. I need to get there someday.

If you reload, it’s worth stopping by Little Hardware in downtown Charlotte just to see their stash.

Little Hardware ain't open on weekends. :(

My old buddy, Bobby Davis, built that stash. ;)

Spent many a day in his old store on South Blvd, sometimes working in it, helping him out.

I keep meaning to go by there. Cool as hell as a hardware store and going in the back to this seedy, dark corner of the warehouse with all these explosive powders is just....well it just seems right and would just frighten the fk out of your average lib.

FIVE football fields?
We've got everything else (plus tennis courts), but only two (one is practice) football fields.

I was going to check before I posted that...but then I assumed there was no way a hardware store wouldn’t be open on Sat. :(

Try to go by Little's around lunchtime. The food cart out front has the best brats in Charlotte.

I'm geographically retarded, so I don't know if you'll be going through or near Pineville.

If you're close enough and time it right, you could stop in and see @lowspeed at his joint, Pineville Tavern, and have a fantastic lunch.

Not your typical hardware store. They're more of a industrial/contractor/commercial type store. Think Grainger's. Not consumer grade big box. Family owned.

But unlike Grainger, where I only get counter service...I can walk it Little and wander around forever. Just never had a need to go on the weekend so I didn’t know for sure.

And I rarely have to go to Grainger. I have an account through work with free next day shipping (to my house) as part of the deal. :D

I went and came right back, no exploring.

By chance, is it the new school that they just built?
The guy lived near a brand new school, which I cant recall the name of at the moment, but it was huge and looked nice.
Looked like a small college

Gold Hill Road exit on the Fort Mill Bypass is where the new school is.
And yes it looks like a small college.

Near Doby's Bridge Rd? Yes.

Shame, if you would have pulled up one of the orange stakes out front, I would have signed it for you. You missed the 8 dollar MP5 mags as well.
