When The Last Time You Used A Uncle Mike’s Holster?

I've got 2.5 inch Taurus 44 mag that carry in a uncle Mikes pancake holster, while not.a chief Jason's holster it's a perfectly serviceable holster for no more than I carry this firearm

I bought one back many moons ago when I first got my CCW.
Was for a Hi Point I bought on a whim,, figured cheap gun, cheap holster. The Uncle Mike's was outclassed by my ghetto blaster and I found something better.

I actually have several...sidekick’s for carrying at the farm. Primarily a model 37 Smith but another for occasionally a Glock 30.
Just a good basic holster.

Often I forget I am even carrying the Smith.

I had to check, I thought I was clean, size 4 pocket holster in my pocket now.. I'm so embarrassed.

It's the only one I have ever owned and likely the only one I've ever touched.

It’s been a while. And while I’ll never use one for CCW, they are fine for protecting guns in a range bag or In storage.

My wife and daughter have their M&P Shields is in them in the console of their cars. No need for a fancy holster there.

I still own the one I had for my Beretta 92. Maybe not even exactly Uncle Mike’s, but equivalent. The outdoor range I used required that you holster your firearm and wear it on you while changing targets and I guess I didn’t feel like buying better.

today.
Its what I mount my carry gun in in the car.
Cheap enough I didnt mind modifying it a bit for my purposes

I use one every day. I’m not endorsing them by any means but it serves its purpose. One of these days I’ll get a nice tuckable iwb but I never have the time to research them

Have a sidekick for my P89 Ruger, two retention models I got on promo for my M&P 9 and Beretta 92. Only use them at the range.

I think I bought my first one back in 1983 when I bought my first handgun. I currently have a Size 15 Sidekick in a box with several other holsters and some gun parts. Couldn't tell you when I got it or what I got it for.

I had one, and didn’t know any better.

The plastic belt clip fell apart and a nice revolver hit concrete. Thankfully just a scratch.
They’re only good as a gun sock.

I still have an old sidekick hip holster in the parts box, but haven't used it in 20+ years. I even found an old BagMaster holster too! dial the wayback machine Sherman!

I have two shoulder holsters one that I carry my six inch barrel Smith and one for my G20 in, whichever I am in the mood to carry, when I go hog hunting.
Old holsters that I have had for a long time and don't wear out.

Yesterday, Carry my ratty .45 tractor gun in one. Goes on me every time I get on the tractor. Padded enough to protect.

I used to have one to carry my GP100 back and forth to the range, since guns were supposed to be cased to and from the firing line. It worked fine for that, but after trying it on my belt once, I decided to upgrade to a nice Bianchi leather holster.

The Uncle Mike's ended up in a give away box at the range many years ago.

I do use a Blackhawk pocket holster for my S&W J-frame. I think that's fine. Its only job is to keep the gun upright and protect it from dings.

I have one of their pocket holsters sewn into one of my coat pockets, keeps my G19 very well and cheap! Lol
