Has anyone switched to Spectrum from Time Warner? Looks like Spectrum is cheaper and has more programming than TW.

Same company, they changed their name because the Time Warner brand had become too tarnished.
Actually, as I remember the deal, TW was purchased by Charter and the whole shebang rebranded as Spectrum.

I believe you're correct. I also recall charter ranking lower than Slime Warner in ratings. The results are worse. The TV seems to be the same 20 channels repeated ad nauseum for $100 or more per month.

I'm thinking of dropping it and putting up an antenna.

When I moved I had Time Warner. I went down to the local Spectrum office to set up a new service address and get a few questions answered. The fellow behind the said "oh you still have Time Warner" I said yes and he told me I was overpaying. Long story short he cut my bill by $80.00 with the same channels I had before. I couldn't figure it our since they are the same company but I sure wasn't going to ask any questions with the new bill amount.

My internet is still through TWC yet my payment is made to Spectrum.

When I called about switching, the CSR on the phone admitted "there's really no difference, even though they advertise different internet packages".
Standard internet for Spectrum is 200/10 Mbps, is that what you have?

At the office we called it Sometimes Warner . Now we call it Scrotum. I must say Scrotum is Much improved over the other.

Rectum Internet still has me at 300Mbps and "standard cable" for around $100 and tax.

The death star telephone service (AT&T) wanted to limit and charge more for our data consumption so I dropped them like a rock after ten years.

When the kids leave I'm gonna go off the grid lol

So, I'm minimally involved. I loved Time Warner when I had it in the Raleigh area. Now that I am in the woods, I had to make some decisions. Nearly $300 a month in internet and television services or..... My hotspot with Verizon Wireless for internet service and a television antenna in my attic for television. I watch all the television that I can stand using my antenna that I installed in my attic. I have all the internet I need using my hotspot on my phone. I save well over $200 a month. If I could pay the money and have TWC again out here in the country, I would do it. Just me. I've tried the only two carriers out here and have been SOOO disappointed.

Just like putting lipstick on a pig. Yes TW was expensive, $130 a month for two boxes and the main package w/o any premiums. Jumped to ATT TV streaming the week they hooked up the fiber in my development. $40 per month for the all in package, locked it in as early subscriber.

Went down there today. Same cost for both services but the boxes for additional TV's you get with Spectrum will give you all the channels rather then those POS HD converters that only get lower level channels.

Spectrum has the ACC network. Time Warner does not. Switching to Spectrum saved me a little money. I did it when swapping a bad box.

My take is that the mysterious swirling great red spot on Jupiter represents any/all of the cell, cable or satellite providers you could choose from. They change shape slightly, get larger or smaller, but in the end keep doing the same thing: Sucking in all available cash.

No contract. Smallest service footprint that does the job. Switch allegiances as often as suits your needs. Play them as they play you.

I had ATT Uverse... Phone, TV and Data (4Gb speed) was $320.... Not to mention that the DSLAM down the road was constantly being worked on and we were losing all connectivity at least 4 times a day!!! (Hello 5 9's... FCC there is a problem here!)

Spectrum gave me back all my BEIN Sports, ACC and 25Gb speed for $180. Eff' U AT&T!!!

Now... ATT was faster on the TV and Guide.... there is latency changing channels with Spectrum... but not $140 dollars worth! Plus, I have amazing data speed now.
