The social journalism warrior in me will not allow me to click that link.

A white lady had a rifle with her when she talked with the bus driver about bus bullies? Someone freaked out and the po-po was called?

Back in my day we carried guns to school. Been hunting or target shooting many days after school.
This! The parking lot of my high school every truck had a full gun rack in the rear window. And during hunting season most of the beds had some sort of dead furry woodland creature in it.

She said she was out chasing off dangerous animals and the bus came as she was on her way back home.

She needed to speak to the bus driver about her child being bullied on the bus. Some of the other kids captured her on video and evidently showed their parents...and that’s who freaked out.

End result was no crime committed, but it was recommended to not bring a firearm to a bus stop. :D

Perfectly legal open carry. From the article:
"Obviously we're going to suggest no one take a firearm to a bus stop to pick up a child
Ok then. Let’s start with disarming the badge monkeys that showed up. A cop with a gun is a bigger threat than that woman.

I don't have a problem with OC in general, I've done it myself and will again when deer season opens. But not everything that is legal is wise. And listening to her tell about the coyotes, everything about her words and body language just screams "liar". She carried that rifle to the bus stop to intimidate the bully.

On the other hand, she managed to get her message across to the bully without getting arrested, so maybe she's smarter than I thought.

Yep, and most of us had an Old Timer or a Barlow in our right front pocket. Never had any stabbings or knife fights.
I loved my old Barlow's. :D

OK, I no longer believe she says the angriest, craziest things I've ever read on this board.

“Police don’t respect us!”
*refers to them as badge monkeys in casual conversation.”

Only in Stanco.

Also, I guess someone somewhere didn't like the evil black rifle in the hands of a woman.
