What patterns do you like?

as we roll in to the 2019-2020 I’m curious what Camo patters if any are y’all wearing?
I have some mossy oak break up, but most of the time I wear jeans and a od green or brown shirt in the deer stand.

I’ve heard Hawaiian shirts work perf.

I don’t care that much, best quality for the $. I believe it’s more important I’m not moving around than this week’s pattern.

Agree with the above. I use to overthink it and probably still do to a degree but if they can smell me it doesn’t matter what pattern I have on. I do think about it more when I’m in a bow stand. It’s almost that time.

I like open pattern with a dark contrasting element to break up outline. Predator is a good example of this.

I have switched to Kryptek... but still will wear Realtree, or green or even khaki in the later season.

Mix and match whatever.

I feel sorry for you...... everybody knows your camo must match perfectly to kill deer. If you don't look like you fell out of a Cabelas catalog and hit every page on the way out you're doing it wrong.

Camo is a misunderstood term. Means concealment. If you are hunting a snow covered peak camo will be different than in a green forest.

I started using First Lite gear last year in Fusion. Not so much for the pattern but because their merino is amazing.

I check noise over pattern too. Some of these fabrics are way too loud. It’s not uncommon for me to be looking straight down on a deer. 15-20 feet above them. I need quiet.

Never worn camo. Jeans and jacket with an orange cap was always my deer hunting outfit. I did use UV wash...


I find the HECS suits interesting for animals more inclined to notice than whitetail... Never used one.

Old woodland BDUs, whatever else happens to be at hand. I usually look like a homeless bum with mismatched old stuff. I do pay attention to dark vs light based on foilage, snow etc.
