My friend has had his P365 for a while now. I had shot it once before when he first got it but I had already made up my mind that I didn’t like it before hand. Mostly due to the initial reports of issues. But lately I’ve been thinking of a smaller gun for carry and Sig seems to have all the bugs worked out now. So tonight I gave it another try. I surprised myself at how well I shot it. Just as good as my G26 that I have hundreds of rounds through. I was also surprised at how good it felt in my hand. I usually don’t like micro pistols. A P365 purchase may be in my near future.

Welllll, I came in off the range about 30 minutes or so ago. @Have gun-will travel was visiting. Guess what he brought me to shoot??? Yep!!! I can say that for Me the recoil is Less than my G43s. Didn't shoot but a couple of mags through it [rain was coming]. Altogether impressed with it. Especially the grip. It fit my Girly hands perfectly. Am I gonna get one??? Not right now. Just made the change back to my G26s with 19 mags. I love the portability of the small guns but I shoot the bigger ones easier. Notice I didn't say Better. The 365 and G43 will do anything I need to do inside 10 yards, I just have to work harder.

I see another potential convert to the 365. Don’t fight the force. :)

The deed is done...

Where on the waist do you carry? I pocket carry cuz I can't seem to get comfortable with my gut, lol. It would be great if I could figure out where to carry IWB. I too love my P365.

I love my P365 and it makes a great carry weapon. Paired it with a Vedder IWB holster and it is very slim and easy to carry for a fat man like me.

Spouse shot his for the first time yesterday. Loves it!

I will be trying it tonight. I won't be replacing my P238 but, it might be a backup when spouse is carrying something else.

Very nice. My 365 is somewhere north of 5k rounds and I haven't had a problem yet. Still just as accurate as the first round through it and it shoots like a dream, I carry it everywhere.

I did put my hands on a 365XL yesterday, was at academy so couldn't really get a good feel for it with the stupid trigger lock on it, but what I could tell I liked it. I may pick one up. I pocket carry in the summer and IWB in the winter, looks like the XL would carry IWB just about as well as the little one.

Took my new 365 to the range today. I fired 350 Speer Gold Dot LE 124 Grain rounds with no problems. The ten round magazine was much easier to load the the 12 rounder. When I got home I broke it down and found some peening on one side of the barrel. Other then the one side there was no other unusual wear. I'll take it back next week and fire another 200 rounds to see if there is any further peening or problems before I decide if it's going to replace my Shield 9mm for my EDC.

After seeing the grip sleeve from the pics above,I went ahead and ordered a hogue grip, So I put it on friday and it made a world of difference to how it feels in my hand. I feel like I got a hold of it better now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another plus is your choice of color may reduce the chances someone steals your gun. o_O

An observation with little trigger time on the 365 and Thousands through the G43

How many rounds shot?????

They shoot great, it just didn't fit my hand right. Sold it after two weeks. They're solid guns, just didn't work for me. Accuracy is no problem...
This man paid his money and now knows for himself. This kind of review goes over big with me.

Steve, I've tried IWB for the last thirty plus years; couldn't find any holsters that were comfortable. My last attempt ( suggested by a forum member here) is now literally the only IWB holster I will ever buy again. This is not a slam at any of the fine gun holstermakers we have on here, I use them almost exclusively for OWB.

The Lowrider holsters just put the butt of the gun at just the right place for me, under the "gut overhang". I'm not a big kydex guy either, but these just flat work. And, after I finally developed a crack in a G19 holster, after probably 7-8 years; they thanked me for wearing it out and replaced it for free. I can't promise they'll do that for you, but it sold me on them forever.

In 15 years with 100s of thousands of rounds shot, by many hundreds of shooters, we have never found Anything as fast as pocket carry. Range record for one round on target from concealment, from 7 yards, is .39 seconds. Nothing more natural than standing with your hand in your pocket. Folks like to quote Clint Smith as saying...if you need your gun and it is in it's holster, your tactics suck.... Having your hand on your Blaster is as close as you can come and still be Concealed. I carry 2 every day when outside the gates. As natural as walking.

This could also appear to others that you are playing pocket pool.
