G34 malfunction #4 (I think)

What's your favorite response?

  • Mine never does that

  • Limp wristing / wrong grip / don't know how to shoot

  • Should have bought a CZ, they don't do that

  • Should have bought a Sig, they don't do that

  • Plastic guns are junk, get a steel frame

  • 9mm is junk, shoot .40 / .45 / 10mm / 45LC

  • Steel ammo wrecks yer guns!

  • You need an Apex trigger / tune job / grip tape / soldering iron stipple job

G34 choked today, round number 23,362 and we had this failure to eject. Last time this started showing up it turned out to be a worn out extractor spring. That took a few times to verify it wasn't just a fluke, but we'll see what the next few range sessions bring.

Looks photoshopped... Must be a CZ plant...

Or one of those H&K people...

My Glock does choke a LOT when feeding it steel. To the point that I just quit even trying. I guess if yours ran a couple thousand steel rounds without a hiccup before this, then I could get behind the idea of putting in a new set of springs all around.

Almost all of the 23k rounds through the gun have been steel.
