Gun sales surge 15%, driven by self-protection and Pelosi-Schumer demand for limits

Investment opportunity. You know it's coming, even if it doesn't turn out to be anything. ;)

I know I've been doing my part to help that! I've been working real hard to get myself stocked on magazines and guns that I'd genuinely like to have, and still have more I'd like to get. :)

Well that's my problem. I would like to have one of each and two of some. Come to think of it I have two of some.

I had a fellow approach me at work and asked if I had any "clips" for sale. I told him I didn't and referred him to my buddy's store.

He said, "I know he's got some, but someone told me you had some." I told him that he didn't ask if I had any, he asked if I had any for sale. Two very different situations.

He just said, "Oh. I see."

Just got my annual report for American Outdoor Brands, they own S&W plus 18 other brands, formerly known as S&W Holdings.
By the end of the year they will have shipped the 3,000,000th M&P Shield.

Our domestic firearms businesses employ huge number of craftsmen and women from
firearms, ammo and accessories plus the smaller machine shops, gunsmiths, ranges and training.
Is is me or are the politicians just STUPID, they want to ban fossil fuels, firearms, ammo, accessories...etc. good paying American jobs.

I do think a lot of these people don’t need to purchase more guns ... many need to purchase ammo and getting better training and practice to become proficient with what they already own. While I don’t have all the firearms I want I likely do have enough to meet my needs. I can not say the same for ammo and always need a little practice and training to knock the rust off. While I don’t want to see ammo shortages like when Jug Ears was in the White House I like to hear ammo manufacturers were running at least 2 or 3 shifts to keep up with demand.

As a po-a$$ retiree, I'm trying my best to do my part. I am not worthy!

I've bought considerably more ammunition than I have guns, too. Guns are just what the OP and article were talking about. Hooray for PSA, MidwayUSA and AimSurplus! And DPRC as a place to go shoot it, and shoot it well. :D

I know Ive read that NICS checks are up like 15% in August but everything I'm hearing from my contacts in the industry is that the G&A&A business is way down from previous highs. Two big distributor middle man companies have gone bankrupt this year already.

At my station in life I can't shoot up the ammo I have. I have a self imposed moratorium on firearms purchases for now. I have one to be delivered this week and that will tie things up for a while. By the same token, I'm not having a fire sale either. BUT when I do decide to sell....and that day is closer...all will go on here first.

AOBC (S&W, Crimson Trace) is under $7. It'll go up in the high $20's again, too.
Respectfully - you won't see $20 on this stock for a long time. They are going to be impacted by the Crimson Trace purchase and chinese tariffs for at least two quarters. All the discounting they've done was in response to supply chain issues from the outdoor gear portion of the business and the stagnant market. I'm almost certain you'll see significant price increases to rectify the first half cash problems. Distributors already have plenty of stock, so unless there's a new whiz-bang gotta have it model out, distributors are not going to place large orders unless demand calls for it. Even then they have major hurdles. Buy Ruger before you invest anything in AOBC.
