Ya'll down in Saluda would've had a new range long time ago if it weren't for the panti-waists who complained about it being too icky.

Wasn’t that going to be LEO only?

Where we really screwed up was the Flat Rock 3 Gun a couple years ago.

Initially yeah, but then in an attempt to garner support they floated the idea of opening it to the public at certain times.
And that was the second time they tried to build a range.

Wasn't that where the a.h. neighbor said bullets were whizzing through his property, even though they showed it was physically impossible?

Yup.

That property was perfect for 3 gun. EVERY stage area had hillside as impact area and most were oriented downhill.
 
Just thought I would pass this on as we have been waiting for a closer place to shoot

Any idea how much the membership rates are? There is precious little info on their website. It doesn't even mention a 600-1,000 yard range but that's the same amount of time I spend driving to shoot 400 yards.

Sorry I do not know, my knowledge is all 2nd hand. I'll try to find out later this week when I have more free time.

So they are opening under construction but will have several of the ranges open (x12 total). You do not have to register but it is open if you would like to secure a time/lane. Its 12$ hr for the 200yrd not sure on the 400-500 which everyone can shoot on and the long range up to 1k is $30 but includes transport up the mountain and multiple distances from what I was told. If you move off the 4-500yrd range you will need to get RSO okay so he knows you and your rifle have the ability to move on can't just show up and get on the 1kyrd. They are set up to handle everything up to 50cal. No tracers, incendiary or explosive rounds. They will have guns for rent that are already dialed for 1k and they are still working on membership rates. Everyone up there is super down to earth so if you have any questions just call or to verify information. 855-745-2727
