1st, Beto & his Posse should refocus their efforts on the "People Problem" we have and come up with solutions to effectively Flag / Recognize behavior the endangers the public at large without Tossing our U.S. Constitution in the Trash.

We are a nation of Laws? So we'll follow the Law?
Hype or scare tactics ?

Well if America is a nation of Laws and Beto wants our firearms, him and his posse can start with "Repealing the 2nd Amendment."

Societal Decay ( due to decades of Democratic Socialist Policies ~ Leadership )

He should refocus, yes. If he actually cared about the problem he certainly would.

But he doesn't and he won't. All they care about is total disarmament, using any reason or excuse at their disposal.

If they fix the people problem then they won't have the caskets of victims to use as a soapbox to keep pushing their agenda.

I’d remind Robert Francis that so we’re (are) a lot of other nations that commit mass atrocities. Law isn’t what people think it is.

This is all horse feathers. Beto won't receive the nomination - we all know this, and frankly no one knows this better than him. He's known this for awhile now. I believe that's why recently he's gone well beyond the deep end on guns. Remember, last year on Texas talk radio he said AR owners could keep their guns, that no one from the left wanted them.

Fast forward to now, with his campaign polling near flatline EKG numbers. I think he's worked out some deal with party leadership - he pivots to the extreme left with this rhetoric, to help make Warren and Sanders seem more centrist in the MSM and also to indecisive voters.

He's just another asshole being puppeteered by those who truly control the Democratic party.

I fully concur with the addition to I believe he is also acting as the Left's "Lightning Rod" to gauge how much they can get away with.

When the Left's front runner emerges they will carefully merge what they think they can get away with into Front Runners message / platform.

Beto will be rewarded with something in a middle administration role, if they can win The Oval Office.

Bottom line, the Left dearly wants to Dis-Arm America and fully realize they still have Citizens that know Civics that are still breathing and need to throttle their message to appease everyone.

When the Left cross the Finish Line, then they take the Gloves Off.

Oh boi... Who knows where trump's headed. He's shown multiple times the BOL doesn't matter to him any more than it does to Beta.

Trump expected to announce gun control legislation this week. But the substance of it is a mystery
The Trump administration is expected to announce its proposal to curb gun violence as soon as next week. But after the Democrats' fiery debate on gun control, what President Trump will support is far from clear.

The White House has been talking to a trio of lawmakers: Democrats Chris Murphy and Joe Manchin and Republican Pat Toomey. They all support tougher background checks.

After the recent mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, Mr. Trump called for gun control legislation.

"I'm talking about meaningful, write that word, meaningful, meaningful background checks," Mr. Trump said on August 9.

But Mr. Trump never defined what meaningful means and quickly backed off after talking to the National Rifle Association.

"We already have very serious background checks," Mr. Trump said on August 21.

Since then, Mr. Trump has called mass shootings a mental health issue and criticized what he sees as overzealous Democrats.

"Democrats want to confiscate guns from law-abiding Americans, so they are totally defenseless when somebody walks into their house with a gun," Mr. Trump said.

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke reinforced the president's argument at this week's debate.

"Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We're not going to allow it to be used against fellow Americans anymore," O'Rourke said to loud cheers.

Some of his fellow Democrats now fear O'Rourke's words will be used against their efforts to pass new gun laws.

"I frankly think that that clip will be played for years at Second Amendment rallies with organizations that try to scare people by saying that democrats are coming for your guns," said Democratic Senator Chris Coons of Delaware.

The White House wants the president to be seen as taking some action on gun control because the majority of Americans support tougher laws. But his base is not as supportive and the president does not want to risk angering them going into an election year.

Warren and Sanders.

*** I'D *** have a better chance.

Warren & Killary

Killary needs to Re-Boot her foundation

I'd still have a better chance. If Hillary was considering it she would have already thrown her hat in. I wouldn't be shocked if she "committed suicide" during the election as a distraction.

Killary for Warren's VP pick.

However Killary has already effectively demonstrated she can still get her way as SOS.

Just because there are "laws" does not mean that the laws are automatically "just" or "moral".

Saying something like "I was just following the law" is akin to "I was just following orders".
