You are the exact guy I am talking about. You want your rights, but aren't willing to stand up for them. So. You're the guy riding on my back as I fight for 2A rights. Go ahead and take your wife's purse and go where ever it is that she wants you to go. I know at the time of crisis where you'll be.

The irony of the “support mom and pop” references is that walmart employs 2.2 million people. Of which most make “working class” wage. I get irritated when people think that stopping shopping or using large companies somehow only hurts the “CEOs” at the top. We see signs that say “when you shop at a local store you help send a kid to dance classes, or buy a new pair of shoes.” Well, keeping Walmart in business keeps a few million people off the welfare lines. Keeps a lot of kids in shoes. Sends a lot of little girls to dance classes. Sends a lot of little boys to ball practice.
So yeah, we >think< we hurt the big wigs at Walmart with a boycott. But what really happens is they see a dip in profits so they cut jobs at the low end, automate processes, and make it up by cutting what they will pay suppliers. Big wigs get their pound of flesh, and everyone under them feels the bleed.
But that’s cool, we all get a slight dopamine rush while feeling like we made some big statement by paying more for items while driving to five different stores.

No, it's pretty impossible... You're on the internet right now. Using Amazon, Google, watching YouTube videos people post? You can curb it, but unless you go Kaczynski in a cabin in the woods, you ain't avoiding it...

so do we have to add walmart to the "identity" chain now? lol LGBTQWM, some people identify as walmart shoppersTheoretically if Walmart lays people off because their business is down that means someone else’s business has grown. So those employees have other options. Walmart is not the only employer they can work for. It’s not Walmart or death. The economy thing is pretty fluid and complicated.
Insert banker insult here ______________ .

Walmart isn’t trying take my guns.
Theoretically, maybe. Realistically, no. They will either go to another employer that is similar (other big brand box store) of which few are overtly 2A friendly, or they will flood the local market with minimal skilled labor. Mom and pops not going to hire 2 million stock clerks.
In many places Walmart >is< the premier employer to work for.
Insert the economy isn’t as fluid as you think joke here.

Not to but in but:

CEO Doug McMillon
Finally, we encourage our nation’s leaders to move forward and strengthen background checks and to remove weapons from those who have been determined to pose an imminent danger. We do not sell military-style rifles, and we believe the reauthorization of the Assault Weapons ban should be debated to determine its effectiveness. We must also do more, as a country, to understand the root causes that lead to this type of violent behavior. Today, I’m sending letters to the White House and the Congressional leadership that call for action on these common sense measures.
I know where you are coming from but as of now Walmart hasn’t banned the carring of firearms. I can still protect myself. He could have easily banned any kind of carry from Walmart. He didn’t, The point I’m making is if Duke Energy sent the same letter who anyone that they provide power too tell them to cut their power off? How about if it’s a internet provider? Chose your battles, as for Walmart it’s not one I chose to fight.
And I understand. To each their own. I have no problem with WM not selling certain firearm items or not wanting open carry. Their store, their rules. But the extra step of sending letters to the govt on gun control crossed the line in my opinion.
B, be honest. You are a supporting memebrr. Did you pay through PayPal? The point is that we can stop using something’s.
You know, I don't particularly care for anal sex, but if that is how she wants it I will give it to her and I'll give her a mouthful at the end. I can't imagine mincing words, it is what it is.
Lol, what in the world are you talking about. We are on the same side. Walmart has not stopped you me or anyone from carrying a pistol in their stores. If they stop it complete then that’s a issue to me.
Ya got me there. Good pointThey have stopped those that can't afford or think they shouldn't have to buy the right to carry concealed.
So they are going to go to another employer most likely. Not whither and die. In most cases. We had stores before Walmart and we will have options without Walmart if need be. Never said they were going to double incomes and buy McMansions. But they’ll move on and adapt.
When they first installed the self checkouts, I was leaving with my Bryer's Butter Pecan ice cream,
the receipt checker lady was looking at every item in another woman's cart, she had baby in arm, full cart of groceries
and another child in the shop cart seat, I walk past them to leave, 'STOP HIM HE IS STEALING'.
I make it outside and a hand is placed on my shoulder, I stop and said 'take your hands off me or I'm calling the police'.
'Sorry, have a nice day', never looked back. Just NUTS.
It is not our choice at this point. The government is going to pass the background check initiative whether we want it or not. They believe it will prevent mass shootings. They are also going to pass the Red Flags laws, whether we want them or not. What will the next step be? You @magicmike will need to bury your rifles, because they are next. So, go buy your groceries at Walmart and enjoy your life. Be comfortable in your home and enjoy your air conditioning. I'm not involved in this. LOL
not only irrelevant, but dumbass as a reply as well. you can do better. You know, I don't particularly care for anal sex, but if that is how she wants it I will give it to her and I'll give her a mouthful at the end. I can't imagine mincing words, it is what it is.
Recently I went to one of the local Wally Worlds and the parking lot was about empty.
This left one of the few staffed check out lanes open with no waiting.
The lane I went through was just adjacent to the self check outs and there was a Greeter / Checker at the other side of the self checks.
I clearly seen the checker and they seen me.
Upon leaving the checker asked / demanded I stop to have the 3 ~ 4 bags checked searched.
I found this rather annoying seeing I was the ONLY one leaving the check out area ( self or staffed 0, period.
I said to the checker, you just seen me checking out with the cashier over there.
The reply, I have to check your bags Sir, can I see your receipt.
Said,
OK, I understand you have a job to do and since I'm going through a double check out lets go over to customer service, call the manager on duty and for every item that gets pulled out and checked I'll return it.
The poor checker apologized and I said something like, I understand it must be store policy so you may want to suggest to management that to Stream Line the double check out process they should post a checker at each register to double check what the cashiers ring up and escort each customer to the door.
Saves Time.
Half the time the models that they sell are exclusively made (ie: cheaper) for them instead of nationwide available models.@BatteryOaksBilly did some comparison pricing on a recent TV purchase. Let him tell you about Walmart.

I don't go to Walmart often but I haven't ever been "accosted" by an employee putting their hands on me when leaving. Occasionally they ask to see my receipt and I just open my bag and they look in. No big deal. Some of you guys must be some rough looking characters to be harassed like you say?

Pretty sure it is a fireable offense for them. Even if they have proof you are stealing they have a no chase policy. Same with Kroger, but those are the only two that I can speak to.Pretty sure no Walmart employees will put there hands on Anyone
