You folks that have the Holosun 507c or 407c I have questions.

Do you use the other holographic reticles ?

Or do you just use the dot primarily?

I looked at the 407c and it was identical other than have the choice of reticles.

Did you have to cut your mounting screws when used on the Glock MOS system?

I don’t have it yet but I just ordered the 507c from Palmetto State for $219 (use code Laborday) and will probably just use the dot option.

I’m also interested in knowing if the mounting screws need to be cut/ground down when using the Glock MOS system. I’ll be mounting it on a Glock 19 MOS Gen5.

I’d go 507c personally.

I bought a couple sets of screws from Battlewerx specifically for the MO Glocks and the 507c. I like the hex screws from Battlewerx much better than the general torx screws that seem to come with most optics.

Dang that's a sweet deal. I just checked and their out of stock at PSA.

So my 507C finally got delivered today. I had no issues with the screws provided by Holosun. It came with 2 longer screws and 4 shorter screws. The shorter ones fit the MOS plate perfectly with no grinding needed. I used the screws provided in the Glock MOS package to mount the plate to the slide and used the short Holosun screws to mount the optic to the plate. Now I just need to shoot it!

Got the HE508T instead of the 507c. Put it on the CH precision plate. I haven't zeroed it yet.

Just as information on weight.

407c/507c - 2.26 oz(Aluminum)
HE508T-- 1.76 oz(Titanium)
Trijicon RMR-- 1.2 oz

Shot a few rounds today and got an ok zero ,I'm going to fine tune it. This is my first run on zeroing a pistol red dot. Using the Circle and dot right now. I like it so far!

I like the subdued looks of the 508T!

I was able to shoot my Glock 19 MOS this weekend. Gun with the 507C would not cycle with North Georgia Arms 115 grain...maybe it’s not hot enough or it could be a break in issue. For the record, it ate Winchester 124 grain NATO rounds like candy with no issues.
