A gun store in Arizona sold out of AR-15s within four hours of running a “Beto Special” deal poking fun at the Democratic presidential candidate who promised to ban AR-15s if elected.

Alpha Dog Firearms announced it would be selling AR-15s for $349.99 on Friday, hours after Beto O’Rourke pledged to ban the weapons at the ABC News debate on Thursday night. O’Rourke was adamant that his buyback program would be mandatory, not voluntary, going on to assure the debate moderators that “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.”

At this point, I'd really like to see all gun stores doing something of the sort. Some sort of program, possibly funded by the pro-2A community, where people can buy cheap, but reliable ARs (I'm talking Andersons or PSAs here, nothing great) with a small amount of extra Magpul 30rd magazines for $350, for people who honestly don't have one yet. Maybe the stores are selling them for closer to $450, but to give people who may not otherwise be able to afford one the chance to do so, they offer the discount. Selling the rifles near or at cost so if gun confiscations do start happening, it'll be that much harder for the statist authoritarians to succeed. Every gun sold is one step against proper rebellion. Any armed American stands a better chance of fighting back than an unarmed or less capably armed one.

I'd like to know what kind of numbers "sold out" represented. A dozen? A hundred?
