Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin told a reporter Wednesday that Beto O’Rourke was not going to take his guns away.

“Beto’s one human being. He gave his own opinion, OK? I think it was very harmful to make it look like all the Democrats. I can tell you one thing: [O’Rourke]’s not taking my guns away from me,” he told the Wall Street Journal’s Lindsay Wise.

“You tell Beto that OK?” Manchin added.

So Beto came clean on his ( and the rest of the POTUS contenders ) position on the 2nd Amendment and in the process outs the rest of the Dems ( and RINOs ?) in the process.

Of course all of us "Common Peasants " fully understand we would be the only ones forced to comply with a disarmament scheme.

It also Escapes me on how our Leaders (?????) were going to find solutions to ID & Help people that do Evil Acts and the Focus has went right back to "Full Tilt Gun Control."

If The WIG Fits,, Wear It!

Good for him to speak out against someone in his own party
And good for him for wanting to keep guns in the hands of the citizens

sounds like a lot of politicians

Agreed

I would have thought that with the current events our Leaders (??) would have focused more on the Mental Health & Alarming Behavioral issues, since all involved in the debate do recognize them as the primary cause of people doing Evil things.

Yup, Beta Boi, and few others, have done us the great service of revealing the party’s true intentions.

Then again, many of us knew this already. It was also easy enough to confirm if you read their blog sites.

One thing I find ( in my circles ) alarming are the number of Adults at or below age 45 ( definitely 40 ) that have less than Luke Warm knowledge of Basic Civics, including our "Bill Of Rights."

I also fully understand that folks are busy with making a living, but with current leadership coupled with current events these Despots are pulling a shell game ( again ) to just "Do Something."

In person some ( or more than a handful ) don't even get or connect me saying, "Let Them Wear Wigs" as they believe it's a joke waiting for the punch line.

Part of the S O R O S agenda;

"Who's In Your Pocket?" Hilary, Warren, Beto ( unofficially ?) , Biden, or just all of them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Serious question, that maybe someone with kids in school can answer: what, if anything, are they teaching in school regarding civics and history?

I had quite a bit of it, but this was in the 80s in an affluent, conservative, low crime, 99.5% white, part of NE Ohio. We had classes in US history, economics, US govt., constitution, international relations, and world history. We had to attend local govt. meetings and report on them.

We also learned to read and write cursive starting in something like 2nd grade.

Manchin is not on our side. He said this only because he's pushing his UBC bill right now, and having someone on his team blurt out their ultimate goal makes it more difficult to take this intermediate step.

They are our representatives, not our leaders. We are not their subjects.

And he "represents" West Virginia - a tight rope he has to walk sometimes with his constituents.

I remember when Judge Kavenaugh was being confirmed by the Senate, Manchin didn't say which way he was going to vote until after Susan Collins committed to voting for confirmation. At that point, it was clear that the Dems didn't have the votes to stop it, and Manchin's vote was irrelevant. He voted for confirmation because his constituents wanted it and he was in a tight re-election. If his vote was needed, you can bet he'd have been the deciding vote that killed it. Typical politician.
