Local Youth Group in Benson

They re thankful the FIFTEEN YEAR OLD will recover because HIS DAUGHTER was recently born.

And it's guns that are the problem...

Effective Dec. 1, 2019, 16 and 17 year old individuals who commit crimes in North Carolina will no longer automatically be charged in the adult criminal justice system. In 2017, lawmakers raised the age of juvenile jurisdiction for nonviolent crimes to age 18, following years of research, study and education on this topic. The ‘Raise the Age’ initiative became law only through a strong, bipartisan coalition of support from all three branches of government, law enforcement and advocacy organizations, which continues today.

Pretty sure that shooting up people and their homes and cars doesn’t qualify as “non-violent”.

I advise the Benson City Council pass a resolution that, "Anyone living in or visiting the Raymond Sanders Apartments be required to just chill out."

The 15-year-old new father, who was shot in the incident, is "a fighter, he's a tough fighter" according to his sister. I'd say he's more the lover type.
