How 'bout them Brewers! Am I alone...

As one who was born and raised in San Diego, lived there for 40 years, and is a die hard SD Padres and Chargers fan...I applaud your loyalty despite the obvious pain and annual disappointment associated with it :p

As an alum and die hard fan of the University of Tennessee, I concur with the above lmao

I was loyal to Bobby Cox and the Braves for many years. Greg Maddux is the 2nd best ever in my opinion; but: the extra game tonight is a tune up!

Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Avery....man, there was a time that was murderers row of pitching lol
They shoulda won more Series than they did
I havent followed the sport in quite a few years, though, so Im very out of touch lol

My in-laws had season tickets about 10 rows from the home dugout from the 1980's till the strike shortened season. They gave them up after that.

The other day I could not remember John Rocker's name.T

I have to keep up with baseball because I cannot stomach the NFL!

Lived near Milwaukee for about 12 years and went to 7-8 games a year.

Have my obligatory share of the Packers too. Could only afford to go to 1 game in all that time!

27 years...from 66 to 93.

Best pitcher I ever saw.

When he retired, I stopped watching baseball.

At 46 years old he beat the shit out of Robin Ventura. He gets the GOAT title just for that.

When in Pittsburgh, be a Pirate (even if you're in last place). For tonight's game, I'm a National because of Trey Turner, who starred at NCSU before the majors.

My dad is from Wisconsin, some of my family up there have had season tickets to the Brewers for 50 years or longer. Glad to see them doing well.

that was when I was a baseball fan, those were good years!
Dont forget Justice! (I know, not a pitcher, but I was a big fan)

Or the 48’ wide strike zone! Love watching the old videos of those guy’s getting k’s on pitches 8’ off the plate. And glad they always choked in the playoffs.

Let's go Nats!!

Probably will lose in the 1st roound as they always do though. Hard being a fan of any Washington team (except when the Caps finally won the cup!!!).

Ended pretty good to me!! Next stop, commie country!

Ha! Not much bigger commie country than DC.

Hahaha, touche my good sir, touche!!

I will just base that statement off of my 50+ non commie friends at the game tonight (not counting the 10+commie associates/friends) vs my 2 non commie friends in the LA area.

Edit to add my youngest brother and his wife are 2 of the 10 in the commie section

Well, as the Cubs said for over 100 years...

...there's always next year!

Thanks for the good humored banter guys!

I haven’t watched a game in years. I did recently find out that a guy I played travel ball with for a few years is pitching for the marlins now. Austin Brice is his name, grew up and graduated high school in Pittsboro. I bumped into him at dinner Sunday night.

Nobody gets that position on a team like the Cardinals or Braves without a serious pedigree!

Watching the cards Braves game.

10-0 cards first inning that lasted 26 minutes

11-nill now... braves looks a bit disheartened
