A recent thread got me to wondering just how many ways a spent lacquer, polymer or plated steel cartridge case could be recycled in to something else. Not many people reload them to use again, but there must be some ways to do something with them besides watch them gradually rust. Anyone have any ideas?
I'll start things off with a couple of uses for spent steel cases I've tried.
1. A whistle.
2. A hole punch. I have actually done this when leather working if I didn't have access to a correct hole punch. Straight wall cases work best but bottle necked cases can be used, though it will likely take more than one as they tend to collapse.
