Dang its hot

I had to move two AL ramps out of the trailer to make room for some mulch. Almost burnt my hands and had to get gloves. I could still feel the heat.

Hydrate!!

In the sun on the outside of my office window. I've never seen the thermometer top out before.

My dang A/C quit yesterday and had to call "the guy" but he still hasn't made it to my house yet.

I don’t need no fancy scientific gear to show me how hot it is. My cooked ass, burnt neck, and drenched clothes tell me all I need to know!!!

We’re setting up for the Vietnam Wall coming to town next week. Couldn’t have picked a hotter friggin week to work in the field!!!

I feel cool(ish) after seeing the over 100s on your posts, guys. It was only 100* in Raeford at 2.30 today...lol.

(Still not using the AC in my car.)

We rode the bike to Myrtle today and got a late start. Didn’t leave until 11 and hit Conway in that stop and go traffic around 245. It was a miserable time getting to the campground but cooling off now.

I'm waiting on Saturday's cool down.

I'm not a hot weather guy, I have to work outside. The people who love summer normally work inside jobs.

I tell my wife this all the time.

We'll turn on the local news in the morning when we get up. Some chipper gal on there is always talking about, "how gorgeous it is outside."

No...it ain't. It's real easy to say it's "gorgeous" when you're behind a window in A/C. Get outdoors and bust your ass when it's hotter than 40 yards of hell; you'll learn to hate summer, especially when the humidity is high.

Late fall and winter (ALL of it) is my absolute favorite time of year.

The first 100 degree day at RDU in over two years was in October? We beat the old record for October 3 by nine degrees! That itself must be a record.

Now that things are heading back to normal, it's past time for Bambi to turn his attention to women and start stupidly forgetting to look for that guy up in the tree. I haven't seen anything with antlers on my cameras since this hot dry spell began.

My Aunt & Uncle (who live in Phoenix AZ) said it was 86 at their house today. A balmy 98+ here in Davidson
