Went through Boone today in the rain once in the morning and about 4pm in the pouring rain yet no rain on the radar..... What if any app works for Boone?

Radar apps from Channel 2,3 and 12 didn't show any rain at all ? Is Boone the Bermuda triangle? The radar sweeps are total BS.

It was sunny and 68 degrees in Bristol, TN thought :)

When I was in school there I always carried a packable rain jacket or a compact umbrella in my backpack. It was not uncommon to leave class on one side of campus in the sun and arrive in class on the other side of campus in the pouring rain.

I've been in Banner Elk this weekend. It wasn't the rain, it was the fog making people think it was raining here.

WBTVweather works pretty good for us. When I can get service in some areas.

I used to find the best Boone area forecasts at Ray’s weather, but I don’t know whose radar they use.

Local radio guy here Dick Biondi in the 80s always gave the weather report by what he could See out his studio window.
I used to listen to “The Wild Eye-Tralian” as a kid in Los Angeles. :)
