Suspicious dudes in my yard.

No clipboards, if they were contractors they would have something to write with, phones in pants pockets.
Any homes on the block that are in foreclosure, they could be flippers scoping out a property to flip?

Man, these photos make me realize how professional polo shirts look. I'm willing to bet my incidences of "who the hell are?" and "get off my damn property" would drop if I could manage to dress like that and not be covered head to toe in dirt and dead leaves.

What is Blueshirt McNotACop looking at in the second photo? Did they notice the camera in the third photo?

Haha! But I think it's spelled McNaughticaup.

Srlsy, though, wtf with the trespass? Maybe something to do with the nefarious bad-yard neighbors?

Seriously, this is a secondary benefit to having a fully fenced yard for the mutts to free run inside- no lookup-lous or other types poking their nose where it doesn't belong. Because they'd end up being bit-assed lookup-lous or shot-assed, one or 'tother.
Being that I work from home too means they probably would've been very nervous after my initial contact.

Looked all around the house, didn't find anything or a card stuck to a door.
If they went on camera Ida never known.

Haven't seen hide nor hair of the neighbors. The dog ain't been around since Animal control said they had $1500 worth of tickets to pay. They've actually been cleaning up a bit... Just a bunch of cars in the yard now, but keeping it mowed and trash picked up.

Maybe they were here for them , Don't know what these dOods wanted.

Git yourself one of these for your back yard. Trespassing problem solved!

Yes, since Scotty has been gone we've lost our early warning face eater. Something Shepard maybe next.
We have 3 young granddaughters that need a protector and fluffy lovin when they come over.

Never hurts to have backyard dogs.

First thing I thought when I saw them was “Cops.” Or, they are former cops. Bail bondsmen, maybe?

Do you live in a neighborhood? If they're cops, looks like a neighborhood canvass for information.

Can't think of any other time cops just go knocking on doors randomly.

...either that or red flag inbound!!!!

Do you have posted or no trespassing signs? If not, you may want to give people the courtesy of that first warning before firing warning shots.....or beware of the (non-existant) dog sign.

Planning and Zoning?

Yeah I was thinking code enforcement. Something on the property ran afoul of local ordinance etc.

EDIT: nvm, he said he called town hall... might call the county tho.

HCPD cop said after coming here....Hell, I was afraid to come through the gate my damn self! Let's just say we good signage. If they had come through the Gate here they would have set off several alarms. We are down a one way in and out road and We Are The First Responders. It would be difficult to leave our gate and make it back to the highway. There are serious relatives from us back out that would "impede" your travel.
I guess you must live in a "neighborhood" so to speak. I would be terribly upset to see folks that close to our house on camera. If your Ploeeeeece are as lazy as ours it won't help to show them.

I would say they either work for a utilities company or subcontractor to one. Always snooping around without asking as usual. They will slap a load cutoff device on without so much as a knock. Especially a sub.

Probably the SWAT team from the Zoo. Your neighbor reported those exotic pets in your living room right before your son's play.

They have quite a back log in these interesting times, not surprising it took 'em a few weeks to check out your illegal giraffe.
