What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Sadly nothing...yet...I’m still jeep poor..
I have a 1911 getting armory coated black
Ambi safety delete
Magwell mag release and some other stuff

Pair of Otis Ripcords, they had a BOGO promo going on by direct email. The brass ends are threaded so you can pull a patch if needed.

1,000 rds 9mm.
1 target + pasters at the range today. (They call them "pasties" there! lol.)

Billy and I saved a bunch of money this evening. We went to look at 2 Colt Single Action Army and 2 US Arms Single Action revolvers. All were in 45 Colt and both pair were consecutive serial numbered guns. The Colts were shooter grade, nice guns, but we didn't think they were worth quite what he was wanting. I already have 2 shooter grade Colts and would like to have something nicer.
The US guns were nice but the price was still a little too heavy, So, we walked away with wallets intact. Billy and I got to spend a little time together and got to look at some cool revolvers and meet a nice old retired cop. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.

Now you just need to get that sucker off to cajun for the E upgrade :D:D:D

Going to shoot it for a bit first. Then the upgrades will come. SA feels pretty good now. Hell of a gun for the price, Can’t see why anyone would buy a cheap 1911 over this beast. Grip size with the thin grips isn’t bad.

Another big bucket of 9mm brass from a forum member.

I thought the trigger was surprisingly good out of the box, too. It's a fantastic shooter as is, I'm not sure I'll ever upgrade anything on it other than my preferred night sight system

After telling an old friend about the 458 SOCOM rifle he asked if I was going to reload for it .My reply was Yes. Well yesterday I received a package from him . Inside the box was close to 100 pieces of 458 SOCOM once fired brass and 2 boxes of 450 grain ammo from SBR ammo company. . The ammo was a total shock.

Popped my little blue pill cherry and bought 500 Librarians.

(That sentence would get really strange looks from anybody outside of CFF...and probably confuses many that are insiders as well) :D

I picked this up today from Clayton Guns. If you haven't been to this shop and live in the area or if you just might be passing through, I'd highly recommend stopping in. Very friendly owner and staff. They also do cerakote and custom engraving. I believe he also is a gunsmith.

This is a Springfield Armory Saint Edge. It has gotta have one of the best triggers straight from the factory on an AR that I've ever owned. Rifle weighs in at just over 6lbs and for a person that arthritis runs in the family that's gonna be nice. I bought the red dot with the intention of running it on this rifle but I liked this rifle so much that I decided to put a deposit on his baby brother and I'll be picking that up on Friday. I'm going to run this red dot on the baby brother and get a scope for this one.

The only thing I'd say that I dont like right now about the safety selector is that it's really stiff to push back into safety. Goes into the fire position fine though. Hopefully once I start breaking it in, it'll loosen up.
