High Point Meet & Meat at BBQJ’s on 11/8

Since alternate plans were made to get wsfiredude his package, and Outdoor Limited doesn’t have the ammo I want in stock (it’s on order, I asked)...I’m gonna skip the 3.5 hour lunch break. Especially since I’m trying to get ready at work for being on vacation all next week.

Hopefully catch y’all on a future M&M.
 
I just got 20+ hours of online training down the pipe so I likely won't be there.

Back in Sept I switched jobs. Went from an area near the GSO airport without a lot of foot traffic to a job in S High Point. It's been an eye opener. It's not quite the hood, but it sure is aspiring to be the hood. At 8am this morning there was a guy on the edge of the road as I was pulling into the parking lot who appeared to be giving a sermon to the sky...in the road. Around 10 a tweaker rolled up to the front door and asked where the personnel office was. At lunch there was a guy at the Sheetz in a full rage, yelling at nothing, just pacing back and forth screaming. I keep seeing what I assume to be the same hookers walking the street, little rode hard and put up white girls.

Drug use or mental health is running rampant on the south side...

Well, wanted to come. Gotta water test to do on the other side of the county next to the red oak brewery at 12:30 so I ain’t gonna make it either

Well, my wife and I are sitting here at Longhorn on N. Main St. in High Point waiting for our server to bring us our lunch.

I just logged in and decided to check this thread. I was snoozin and I lost I guess. Lol.

I'll try to pay closer attention to this section. Susan and I would have joined y'all today. I'm sure it was good. Maybe next time.
