I had to say goodbye to my Lucy tonight. (Furry friend)

Sorry for the loss sir. She was a beautiful dog and thank you for sharing those tricks you taught her. I hope time and great memories heal the tragic loss of Lucy.
 
We never get enough time with our fury friends. Sorry to her you had to say goodbye.
 
It’s been 6 or 7 years since I had to put down a dog, a big mutt named Jackson. I feel for you. Have other dogs now but still miss that guy. His female partner died in her sleep a couple months later. Really tough on our family at the time.
 
I am very sorry, I have been there myself 4 years ago with one of ours. People tell you "oh he was very old!" and things like that but that does not make it any easier at all. We have a toast each Saturday at the time when he went.
 
Man, I hate reading these post. They truly are family. So sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family. RIP Pup.

RS and I both hope you get some peaceful time from the memory of Lucy. We lost our Lucy [12] and Daisy [15] last year leaving us with Bullitt. I swear I still hear their little claws on the floors at night.

@BatteryOaksBilly ,You aren’t the only one! I still hear Lucy’s collar jingle and her toenails walking. It happened the other evening while I was downstairs working.

Thank you all for sharing and for the kind words, it really does help. We really appreciate it. I had almost forgotten that a few kind words go along way, especially in the world we live in now.
