Who's in charge around here?

Most of the dorks tagged above can help. @Butter usually helps set up sponsors and vendors. Thanks for offering to become a sponsor.

Appreciate you coming in the front door. Some folks try to sneak around back.
I'm an up-front kind of guy, sometimes to my detriment.
And I've found that trying to sneak around back usually isn't worth the trouble. I'd rather be a respected member who receives support from everyone involved.

Looks like I will be best served to sign up as a "Vendor", since my leatherwork is a part-time gig, supplemental to my "real" full time job as a meteorologist for the government.
As soon as I get the pins out of my arm from my fall off the roof last week, I'll be back at it and will sign up.
Thanks, y'all.

So, you're the one responsible for us going from summer, directly to winter, with no autumn in between?

Oh you just blew it. You coulda got away with saying you worked for the IRS but this crowd is ruff on meteorologist.

See I told you. That got posted while I was typing.

Hell, I'm rough on meteorologists myself!
However, notice that I said meteorologist, not weather forecaster.

Can you tell me where that meteor hit out here in MO this week?

(I'll split the $ with you)

I believe I can help explain the difference. Weather forecasters wash their faces from top to bottom. Meteorologists wash their faces from side to side. Huge difference.

Why did you do that? Now I'm trying to figure out how I wash my face.

I wash mine in more of a circular fashion. Where does that put me?

A confused human being who, despite considerable education and training, cannot forecast the fickle wind and clouds. See the Hurricane Spaghetti Model pic. This is not a personal smear, just an observation about the profession. This morning's forecast was for considerable rain, so my planned IDPA shoot was canceled. Dry as a bone here, but I would not have wanted to shoot in this wind.

Well, now that the TV stations insist on showing a 7-10 day forecast every day, it makes forecasters look even more stupid. I don't even take a second look at any of the models or forecasts past 48 hours. Pi$$ing off my back deck in the morning usually gives me all the weather information I find necessary anyway.
