Going to put my safe in the garage once it arrives. From what I've been reading for the size, a 12" golden rod will be sufficient. With the safe should get the 24" since it will be in the garage? It's only $6 more for the 24" vs the 12".

Well, this thread was a huge disappointment, I don't mind saying! LoL.

Did some work for a landscaping crew and we were painting some fixtures on day. Buddy tosses a can of brass metallic spray paint to some spazz who misses it, can pops and blasts him with paint all over the crotch of his breaches. To this day, I still call that kid Golden Rod whenever I see him out.

Get the big one. Also buy a rubber horse stall mat from tractor supply to put between the safe and the concrete slab. Then bolt it to the slab.

Better to use the mat as the thermal break.

For the brand I purchased from Amazon, the difference between 12 and 24ā€ is well under $3. In your shoes, Iā€™d spend the three bucks.
