I'm Stepping Down As An Owner

You have been a great asset and will continue to be a great contributor!! Thank you for all you have done and I wish you the best on your next adventure!!!

The owners are:

Chad Morris - Chdamn
John Royer - Butter
Tom Wilson - rantingredneck
Shelton Hill - Brangus
Adam Summerford - 11B CIB---Status---Already on probation

Status change for 11B CIB...…...Just to know that he was even looking for a button to sell to Canadians has placed him on probation already:

I’ll try not to break it while he’s gone, everyone.

There doesn’t seem to be a “sell to Canada” option in the admin files so I think we’re all set

Good luck and God Speed sir. Glad to hear that you'll still be on here. Thanks for all that you've done to make CFF what it is today.

I suppose you are moving down there to keep Leigh John straight?

Glad you are doing what you want to do. Now, I have someone else to visit in the Lone Star state!

Geezer, My cousins son is in the USGC stationed at Port Arthur and he and his wife live in Beaumont. So far they love it and have no complaints.Of course it wouldn't matter if they did, he is there for 2 or 3 more years.

Keep Leigh John straight? Let’s start with world peace and work our way to up to that.

Maybe M&M @Geezer will hate it and move back to us. ;)

Well, damn. Thanks for everything you have done for us as one of our "creators".

Congratulations on getting to the place in life where you can make such a transition.

Looking foward to the threads on the transitions. From retirement to moving. They oughta be good!

Effective January 1, 2020 I will no longer be an owner of Carolina Firearms Forum. Joanne and I are retiring and relocating to Texas.

Congratulations on your retirement, but hate to see you go.

Yall'll be alright though...mountain folks can make it anywhere.

Thanks Geezer! For your work on forum, your general gentlemanly behavior, and thoughts and advice to all of us. You’re a real asset to this forum, and I hope for the very best for you and yours.

I wouldn't want to get kicked out of Texas with that crap. Besides, pork BBQ ain't real common out there.

I just remembered ... SHIPLEY DO-NUTS ... you gotta try them! And I suggest try the cinnamon rolls!

Larry,You will be missed as an owner and contributer here. Although you say you will still be on the site Maybe you can start up a Texas Firea.rms Forum. Let them Texicans learn what true southern hospitality is. Are you going to comeback to Battery Oaks for the annual meet and greet. Just sorry I never got to meet you on the few trips I've made to Billy's. Who in the hell is going to take pictures and post them for Billy. Larry we wish you the best. Maybe you'll get homesick after a few years and move back. . ...Safe travels

I'm really sad to see you go. You've been a steady and constant presence in this forum and part of the crew that had the vision, money and drive to make this site happen. As an exile from both Canadian forums , I'm very grateful for all your hard work and daily participation in this unique place.

Safe travels, and visit us often!

Thanks for all of the kind words and well wishes. I still plan on being around here as much as always. I have a lot of pride in what this place has become. But, it couldn't be such a great place without all of you. We're just a big ol' happy family.

I forgot @Geezer was the one with the onion recipe. I cooked some last weekend and they were excellent as usual.

You're talking the foil wrapped ones, correct? I popped a couple in the oven to serve with an instant pot chuck roast.

My wife is loving it, right now.

Probably, the one with the boullion cube and butter wrapped in foil? I put a couple on the grill with some chicken this weekend. Awesome as ever.
