Last night Mr. Bobby Sanchez (aka "Bobby the Boxer"), crossed over to wait for us on the other side. Bobby came to us from a family that wanted him when they got him, but neglected him thereafter -- until we rescued him. His last span of time on Earth was spent here relaxing, eating good food, and enjoying the sunshine and some loving company. He passed peacefully in his sleep last night, without any sign of suffering. Thanks for being a most patient gentleman and a pleasant companion, Bobby -- we hardly knew ye.

Good on ya for caring for Bobby. I'm sorry for your loss; we lost one recently too. I sure hope we all get together on the other side

It's my belief that they somehow get together on the other side, get to know each other and wait for us to join and meet their new friends. Then we find out that the Boxer was friends with someone we knew so we both wait and when they join it's like a giant CFF get together complete with our Fur Buds.

Bobby will somehow find Bailey and Gizmo and together they'll play and wait for us.... I know it's far fetched but it's my fantasy and I'm sticking to it!!.....

Man, losing a pup is hard, it's just as hard as losing some family members

We lost one a couple weeks ago, and have another teetering. It's so hard... You did the hardest, kindest thing taking care of him as you describe.

One thing that helped me cope....is that I took one in need and turned out to be the best of friends. We made each others lives better while we are here on earth. When its all said and done.......you hope you had a good ride! Going to pet the pups now......

In reading this it very much appears that all conditions were met from both sides of this relationship. Being able to relax, eat good food, enjoy sunshine AND some loving company. What more could you have given him ? And patient gentleman...…..pleasant companion ? Awesome description of the type of presence he offered to your home.

Wow...…..just wow. I could see quite a bit of meaning and inspiration in that portrait. Apparently your cousin has mastered the art of moving his deepest heartfelt thoughts and feelings over to a canvas.

Thanks for sharing this. I won't post the reason up just now but the posting of this was very timely for me and has left a mark on me tonight.

Life is good.

Sorry for your loss. My condolences. RIP pup.

Saw this title, and didn't want to click. So sorry for your loss, but it's good he got to pass at home, where he was loved and comfortable, and beautiful that y'all had each other. My condolences.
