Had to revive this necro-thread for one last hurrah.....After not being able to find one in stock anywhere, and having struck out at the greensboro show last year, i had given up/lost interest in the CZ. Fast forward a year and i'm happy to say that i went down to my LGS this morning and paid for a shiny new CZ 455 Varmint in .17 HMR! (At least next time i regain some lost interest, it'll still be sitting in the safe...lol!)

Over 15 yrs ago I picked up a stainless 10-22 w walnut stock from Walmart. It's the longer barrel and doesn't have the band .

Very easy to shoot and accurate. I haven't done anything to it other than shoot a bazillion rounds through it. I like that it is not fickle about what you feed it.
