Your screen name?

On the previous forum I was Six8 because I had just bought a 6.8 spc around the time I joined. When I joined CFF, I wanted to change it and remembered that I also have a .270 that I have hunted with since 1988 so there are two rifles in my safe that use .277 diameter projectiles. There are also three that use .308 diameter, so I could have gone with three08.

No problem, M. :D
Everybody at work called me JT anyway.
Which is odd because everybody when I was a kid called me JC.
And - without prompting - that was my milspec name too, because there were three Taylors in my boot camp company, so we were Taylor, JC/Taylor, RA/ and Taylor, RS

I moved from VA to WV and at the time liked Sigs. I was AKA rellascout. It is a mashup of my dogs names at the time. Scout and Cinderella. I may or may not have been hit with the Ban Stick on some forums necessitating a name change at some point in time. ;)

One was ironically the Sigforum where I told Mike Packwood AKA Parabellum to pound sand. He didn't like it when I told him that the VP of sales at Sig at the time considered him a joke. He runs the most overbearing forum in the gun universe. He is a special one.

Brian is my middle name too. First name is Steven. I was supposed to be Brian Steven K, but mom's aunt, my great aunt, raised holy hell that my initials would have been BS, so they changed it.

BS would have worked well for me at this point in my life.

I hope we don't have the same last name also. SBH;)

Because you just can't hide being James Bond.
And I always thought it funny that he would say his last name then his first name then his last again.
Then the introduction name became just one name.
This is the only forum that I use this name.
In others I am Returningfire, or Big Bore Bob

My dad would call me a button pusher because I work in Data Processing, aka IT, computer keyboards, punched cards and magnetic tapes. :)
I continue to push buttons on keyboards and use tapes but on more up to date equipment.
The Bull Terrier is my alter ego, all bark and no bite, I'm always the loudest in a room.

Alfred because I had watched an old rerun of the old Batman TV show and the butler quietly saved the day but the flashy superhero got the credit. Anyone who works for a living can identify with that... Plus the Bat-phone avatar makes me smile, so there's that :)

Sorry to disappoint. :D

I’ll admit that even though I’ve never met him, that’s about the same image I also think is in other people’s heads.

You should meet him, he's a bloody great dude.

I happened to be listening to The Doors when I registered here and Jim Morrison is one of my favorite musicians, hence, LizardKing. I'm no expert on anything reptilian, although I did have a Columbian red tailed Boa in college.

One of the other forums I'm registered on, I'm panchoNlefty....cause that's what was playing when I registered....

I changed from WNC Seabee a while back. I loved my time in the Seabees, best job I ever had, but my time in was very low key and relatively uneventful...so I have always been uncomfortable claiming any type of 'veteran' status.

And...I suck with names. Anyone that's met me more than once can probably attest that I don't remember names worth a damn, so I figured if I just use my own name I won't forget it.

I think I remember you from some Powerstroke forums a while back. I was Enterko54.

I've never been like the other kids, but the name was actually hung on me by guys in my unit while we were deployed to Bosnia. On top of me just being me, I was also a Behavioral Science NCO & in that capacity, also the NCOIC of the hospital's Mental Health Detachment. This also coincided with my discovery of the internet & voila. I use Carl '69 or Carl 1969 on a couple motorcycle forums since someone else had previously nabbed my moniker, but have been "Crazy Carl" everywhere else for over 20 years.

I was trying to get information on a Texas Instruments DSP and their website made me create an account and fill out a bunch of information to access the documentation. It really irritated me so I put in “noway” into the user name as in there is no way in hell I’m going to do this. It said the name was taken so I put a 2 after it. Been using the name for almost 20 years now.

Went to Special Forces Underwater Operations Course in 85' Got award the coveted title as a Special Forces Combat Diver. Then spent next 15' on diving status for the US Army.

And now they’ve got you stuck in the middle of a desert-like place!

I picture you asking around in dive gear asking if anyone’s seen any water!

And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead. Los Campesinos. Men Women and Children. Jimmy Eat World (not so indie, but good nonetheless). Certainly can't forget Idiot Pilot.

There's more, but I've seen those bands many many times live.

I bought Clarity at a local record store on a whim when it came out. Been a Jimmy Eat World fan ever since.
