AR15.com Hometown Shoot 3/31-4/2 @ Take Aim in Pageland

I know some of y'all also spend time over there, but some may not even know there are Hometown Forums for each state. The NC/SC guys usually have a Spring and/or Fall shoot each year. I've never been, but I know some here have gone. It's not a huge turnout by any means...I want to think the last few were

ETA: no idea what happened to the rest of this post, and I can't remember what I typed. The shoot is going to be at Take Aim in Pageland, SC. $10 per person per day covers range time. It'll be Fri evening through Sunday, 3/31-4/2. Primitive camping allowed for anybody interested. I'll start a new thread about two weeks before the shoot with a poll to collect headcount. This is planned as an AR15.com Hometown Forum shoot, but I figure we can turn it into an unofficial CFF shoot at the same time.

Cool and thanks for posting this. I'm subscribed to the thread now and will try and see if my work schedule fits this event. Ammo deals, swag, and a smoker on site.....what more could a person want ?

I'll be there, funny story, I actually started the first HTF shoot. It was an epic weekend, things have slowed over the years.

And for goodness sake, acceptable pronunciation of the town's name is Page.lend or Page.lund, not Page.land! It's not the land of pages...lol......

Vendors aren't charged anything, so if anybody else wants to join us...come on. I think it's a $10/person fee for the range.

This is also a heads-up for anybody in NC that needs to get a 5320.20 filed...do it in the next couple days!! I have an Excel version that holds more than 3 firearms if anybody wants it.

My wife is going to Costa Rica with her students during that time....I'll be at home keeping the child alive

I can take the girls to France for you, no worries. You can stay here and shoot with them at page.LAND. Make sure you change the ticket over to my name though, I can't pull off that sexyness you gots going on....

All of a sudden the ability to add a poll exists, so I added one. It should be set so you can change your vote if your plans change. Even added an option in case you first day you're coming and then can't make it...just thought it would be an interesting data point to see.

Who knows?

There should be several from AR15, and I'm guessing a couple more from here that just haven't commuted. We'll see.

There are supposed to be storms Fri night, so not sure how many are camping. I know I'm not. I'll head out there first thing Sat and stay until early evening sometime.

Any idea what time people usually get going on Sat morning? I was thinking of leaving here around 7:30am, and staying until after sometime after lunch.

Shooter #3 has some guns that require links and while I can't speak for him and offer up his guns it would be prudent to have some 5.56 & 7.62x51 handy should he be in a generous mood. In addition he will have a postie M16, AK47 & HK pack.

You're correct factory ammo only in the MG's and no corrosive stuff or crap surplus. Nothing heavier than 147 9mm in the MP5's and brass case only. Steel case is okay in the 7.62x39 guns and I shoot limited amounts of Wolf 223 in my M16.

Y'all missed some action, I left before the belt fed showed up.

I went fer a while, I must say thanks for the guys that brought the automatic toys for everyone to use. and the guys willing to let us try out their 50cals. although I did not actually try any, I enjoyed the experiences with everyone there.... Thanks
