Picked this up today, a genuine A1 upper. Hope to start a build soon, I'd like to make a period correct build, as much as I can anyway. Triangular handguard, 20" barrel, teardrop forward assist. Will probably go with a modern lower though.

I think there is more interest in them now, so there new retro parts being made, which I think is way cool. But the one I stumbled upon came from (so I was told) an old armorers tool box full of parts from the 70s. I just had to liberate it so that I could finally bring it to life.
