Definite want. I have no use for the rotating rail though. IMO it's better to just use a quality QD mount and move it to the bottom rail when folded so everything is in one plane rather than having the red dot stick up like a sore thumb preventing the weapon from being slid under a seat or in a briefcase, etc. Mine held zero well enough for a red dot.

Why? Because it's a PCC or because it folds?

Because it's a cheap POS weapon... It's much like a hipoint... Why they cost what they do these days is beyond me. I bought one new when they came out for about $250 and thought it was reasonable. The neat factor and Glock mags is all that makes them even moderately interesting.

Why would you spend NFA money on basically a disposable gun?

They are a lot more durable than you give them credit for. They are nothing like HighPoints other than both are blowback PCCs, like almost every other PCC made. I used to keep one of these under my passenger seat on a cable lock, kept another one in a brief case. Show me another rifle that can do that. That's REAL value. Does it feel or look as good as heavy steel & wood? Hell no, but being light and compact means I'll have it with me. KT builds super lightweight weapons by design, they will never feel as substantial as normal weapons, but they offer unique capabilities.

And it has to be more manageable package than the time I borrowed one and shot it suppressed. 2DD1C3EB-10D1-400B-9518-1B62EC53C38C.jpeg

I’ll merge the two threads after harassing you. :D

Don't worry, as a married man, I'm immune to such.
:)

I'm still gonna buy one. Sub2k is a great little PCC. Yes, it's physical appearance is done by the same guy that designed the Yugo.

And in comparison to other high reliability, 3 lb foldable PCCs that are affordable and use standard inexpensive mags, .....well......

Kel tech seems to undersell their products too. Wouldn't be surprised to see that the numbers for suppression end up a bit lower if not spot on.

Keltec guns are either great or a total POS. There’s usually no in between. I’ve had a couple of Sub2ks and one was a shooter, the other was an anchor! Same with the CMR and PMRs. I’ve got one of each now that will drive tacks but it took some work. The PMR has the best trigger I’ve ever had out of the box and that really surprised me!

I think this will be my first NFA item. I shot my friends MP5SD and immediately fell in love with integrally suppressed PCCs.

i wouldnt expect anything that resembled the same performance out of the sub2k. Like not even in the same universe. The sub2k has too light of a bolt and recoil spring and will have a very sharp recoil pulse with the silencer . .. It is literally the Mercedes vs Yugo comparison. Will it work? Yes. Will it be as smooth and quiet as the MP5SD? Hell to the no. The delayed roller lock of the MP5SD makes it a LOT easier to suppress.
