Denton Military and Gun Show - April 25 - 26, 2020

We won't make it this year. Have a family event that can't be rescheduled.

My buddy bought a HMMWV and I'm doing the wrenching in trade for playing with it from time to time. Does this event have a lot of parts for sale or more of a show? I love old military trucks, but I work Saturday's and it is a pain to burn a day unless I really, really have to.

Machine gun rentals firing blanks? Weird...

Looks like a cool event. Been meaning to get up there for years...

The blanks was a compromise with the county, I think. They wanted to do live fire, but there were concerns about bullets going off the property.

Depending on who shows up, I’ve seen a fair number of vehicle parts there.

I rode the Huey last year and will every year for the rest of my life.
If looking for parts you need to do a lot of walking as prices are all over the board down under the trees.
Anything special you are looking for someone here may have a connection.

They don't have a range there.
And an old friend of mine runs the guns for rent.

I talked to one of the guys who cooked the machine gun idea up. He was the one that told me there were concerns from the county about doing it on the property (probably because they don't have a range). Hence the blanks. Your answer was shorter, more to the point, and mo betta. :)

Yep all you guys-within reasonable distance should go to it at least once it is worth going to for sure. I took the whole family, wife and three kids for a ride in the Huey last year.

It's a shame they cancelled the Huey rides this year. Another victim of general safety! I had planned to go!
