Whatcha' listening to?

I've never listened to Nashville style country music. Bluegrass, old time, hillbilly stuff, yeah. Pop country, no. So a couple of years ago, driving through the mountains of West Virginia, turning the radio dials hoping to catch something, when this song came on the air, I had never heard it before, and I'd never heard of the singer before, as far as I can remember. But for whatever reason, it's one of those songs that stuck with me. Had to look it up when I got home, and found out it was Connie Smith...

Love Bob Seger. Fond memories of a bygone era.
Ive read he's a super nice guy, gives lots of royalties to the studio musicians, even though he doesnt have to etc

Yeah, Fire Lake is the apex of his catalog, in my opinion
