On Amazon. $4.99 to rent and worth every penny.

It was just an excellent walk down memory lane and an all around feel good documentary.

Can’t recommend it enough.

Even the young people out there who don’t recognize the name it’s worth watching.

I took my wife to Nolan’s last game at the old Tiger Stadium in Detroit. She read a book the entire time. Even after I TOLD HER a hundred times, “That’s NOLAN RYAN and he won’t pitch here EVER AGAIN”.

Almost divorce worthy n

Side note: Umpires are ruining the game. Have you seen some of the absolute crap calls lately?
It’s why I only watch AAA like the Greensboro grasshoppers.

The players still play their hearts out and the umpires seem to be as fair as they can be.

Ask Robin Ventura about facing Nolan…lol.

Lmao. A whole section on that in the film.

And Robin refused to be interviewed for the documentary.

I was fairly well up on most of Nolan’s accomplishments but I just didn’t realize what an absolute beast he was.

One of his no hitters his elbow was frozen with bone chips jammed in the joint and they worked out in warm up.

And another his back was killing him in warm up and he pushed through and it started feeling better.

The man just didn’t have quit in him.

Cal Ripken….
Yep. Huge Orioles fans in this house.

We have a hard time not shouting “O!!!” During the national anthem. Lol.

And Boog Powell. But that may have more to do with drinking mint juips with him in his house at 4 in the morning before going lobster diving with him and his family than anything else.

Not surprising…

Most jackasses who bite off a bit more than they can chew usually ain’t in much of a talking mood…lol.

Especially when they get their ass beat on national television by someone 20 years their elder.

Ryan is a Legand. I'll have to check this out, thanks.

This was in the "suggested Videos" when I clicked through to Youtube to watch the trailer, pretty good:
