I know its a long shot...anyone have actual experience making voltage adjustments to the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on Polaris ATVs (2009 800 EFI Touring)? I have watched the you tube shit and read up on it, just a last ditch effort here to see if anyone can assist before I wade into.

Frustrated to the point I actually called Baker's in Hope Mills, but quickly found out they wont touch anything more than 10 years old...called the newer Offroad Addiction ATV/SXS/UTV shop on the other side of the river, and guess what...he wont touch anything more than 10 years old, wont even talk about it. Fudge...

I have ordered the adjustment tool from ebay (wire harness and meter, already have a meter but comes with it) and the actual socket tool that fits over the adjustment nipple (rather than tear it up using needle nose pliers).

It’s been a while but I do remember the one thing often overlooked is the wire harness uses thin cheap wire that breaks easily inside the insulator. You won’t see it but the wires make a VERY tight bend right at the connector. May need to replace the wires at the connector to get a good signal.

Thanks...yes, wiring has been replaced and new TPS installed, but once you install a new one, the voltage has to be adjusted to match specific year and model.
The newer Polaris models have an automatically adjusting TPS and you don’t have go through this.
Also had to replace the TPAP and wiring...never understood why they used such small wires where there is so much vibration...that was just dumb.
Was throwing five codes and now just down to this one...

I'm seeing a business op for you.
