Is there a converter/adaptor to change a 28 pitch thread to a 36 pitch thread?
I just bought a 7.5" 9 mm upper (36 pitch) and I think the can I have coming in is a 28 pitch thread.
Did some Googling and it appears that both are common in the 9 mm.
I think the pitch on my handguns are 28 but not sure the pitch is on my carbine.

Why not do it the proper way and buy the 1/2-36 silencer piece you need?

Wolfman is correct but I have 28 and 36 pitch thread barrels. Again, I have never played with a can before. When I ordered it I also ordered a mount for a 300 BO. Looking at the above chart, that would be the 5/8 x 24 insert I am guessing. I thought it was an adaptor, When it gets here, I might have to make a trip to Charlotte to get a lesson on breaking it in and the care it needs.

Are you only going to use it on fixed barrels? Or are you going to put it on a pistol using a piston?

If nothing but fixed barrels, just collect all the fixed mounts you need in the correct thread pitches.

I am going to try it on an AR-9 16" and 7.5", I also have a threaded barrel for a Glock 19 and PPQ. The 300 BO I have a 16 and 7.5" barrel. I was told by Dead Air that the can can be used for 9 and 300 BOs.
