After the pins were in place, I filled the recess on the baseplate with clear epoxy, even with the rim of the recess.

After the epoxy cured, I filed the pins flush with the sides of the magazine.

Debating on whether to paint over the epoxy or just leave it clear...don’t think it’s gonna matter either way.
 
Was it not dropping free when you push the release? I've had a bunch of 1022s and every one the mag just falls out fine.
 
I like these. You get two mags that take up less space then normal mags, and the clear lets you see how many rounds are left:

Some stocks are a little tight - sand out the magwell where it is interfering.

The clear mags are ever so slightly larger than the black (or used to be, consistently).
