Looking to sell or trade 14’ Jon Boat with trailer and two motors. I traded a nice shotgun for it from a coworker who was moving out of state. 2 new babies pretty much meant it never saw water other than rain... Clear title, states boat is 1970 model. Boat is very sound but could use a new paint job for cosmetics. Trailer needs new tires as they are getting dry rotted. Tires may be fine enough to get you home but need replacement for the long term. Motors have never been used by me so I can’t attest but they have been stored inside and seem to be in damn good condition. Trolling motor is 4 speed 17 lb thrust. Other is a 3.5 HP Gamefisher that is in great condition but needs a gas cap. I had a new can of tan boat paint that may still be with me after the move. If I can find it that will go as well. Truck is out of commission so you will have to come a few miles south of Asheboro to the house for it. No title on the trailer. Tires are four lug 4.80-8 load rate B.

$800 but will pretty much trade for any firearm equatable value that takes up less space. Love me some varmint caliber heavy barreled bolt guns, Trijicon or Leupold optics, hell feel free to throw something out.

Gamefisher info: Metal tag under the hood model: 217-585280 Sears Roebuck. Serial: 08-163923
Stop, slow, fast on handle. No reverse, it turns 360 degrees. All metal shaft, propeller and clamping assembly.

$500 cash to get it gone.

Do you happen to know the max horsepower or weight ratings for the boat? There may be a sticker or plate inside the hull.

I can’t find a tag or evidence of an old removed/lost tag that may have been riveted on at some point. It measures 45” across the top of the boat body, 31” across the bottom. Title only has the boat listed as 1970 Jon Boat. No other model or make. If anyone has any idea on ratings I would be appreciative of you posting your thoughts in the ad.

Found a site on the interwebs. Max hp is 3.0, max weight is 300lb.

    Or so they say.
