1700's lobster. Deep fried and served with butter/claret sauce.

Served to prisoners and servants. They went into it expecting to hate it, ended up loving it.



My assumption, they don't list things, so I'm making this up.:

Ingredients:
2 lobster tails
Breading:
1 1/2 cups AP Flour
1 Egg
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/2 - 1tsp Salt

Optional: 1/4 tsp parsley, celery seed, paprika, black pepper

Sauce:
1 stick Butter
1/4 cup claret
Juice 1 Orange
1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg

Directions:
Crack lobster tail, remove, slice into smaller pieces. Mix Breading, dip lobster pieces. Fry until golden brown.
Pour sauce ingredients into pan, simmer 4 minutes, until combined.

Eat.
