Just picked up a rock island 1911 in 10mm last night. Only came with one mag. Anybody on here have any experience or suggestions on what mags I should look at to buy for this gun?

Might want to check with GregCoteLLC. I bought (4) 10mm double stack magazines from him for my RIA HC 10mm from them. (16rds). Not sure what model you have so, cant help there. These were the Para P16 Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 40 S&W 10mm 16 RD P16B-40-16

Decent prices too.
 
Thanks for the info, I just have the single stack model. I actually ordered some Wilson Combat 9 rounders for it Monday. Hope to get them next week and try them out.

No pics, it didn't happen! Which model did you get? I've been eyein one of those for awhile. Love that cartridge. That sole cartridge is responsible for my "money saving" reloading addiction.

I have been trying to get a pic posted for the last 3 days, but I am not smart enough to figure out how to resize it so that I can post it here. Stupid iPhone pics too big. LOL

Funny, I have the same problem with the Note 4. Cant figure out the re size thingy either. That's why I cant post any pics either. Nice looking pistol.

Model 51991 FS no rail. I like it so far just need to find time to shoot it now. After January 2 that schedule opens up though.

I looked at the model you have and eventually went with the Model 52009.

Nice looking piece you have there sir. If I didn't already have a Glock 20 I would have looked harder at the HC model
 
I have two, the full size and the commander both single stack, no rail, what's not to love,the Wilson mags work fine in mine,my next one will be the long slide 10 mm ,since I have the long slide in 45. And I'd upload pic but can't figure out how to resize files either,

Google play store has a free app that lets you resize pictures, it's easy to use.
 
So finally got the chance to shoot the gun today. Put about 50 rounds through it. Performed flawlessly and shot very good. Only issue I saw is it slings the hell out of some brass. Slide has knicks in it from brass flying. I haven't cleaned it since I shot it and my pics are still too big from my phone. I will get some up later.
