where is the best place to find a value on this revolver (1930s Colt officers target 22lr) I am not sure it has ever been fired. There is no drag line on the cylinder. original box owners manual and sight adj tool in the envelope bore and cylinders are spotless I will call Colt next week to try to get a accurate date and I will post pictures when I get a chance

You can try inputting the S/N here on the Colt Manf Look-Up site but it sometimes won't show every pistol...

https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup

BB of Gun Values shows it in the $1500.00 range based on the condition you describe. There is a heavy adder for specific barrel length but it might be referring to the other calibers this pistol came in...I'm not sure.

I was at the Colt Collector's Show in Charlotte in October. These are all over the board and completely dependent on condition. They don't bring as much as the .22 PP Targets in the same or equal shape. Also, the Colt web is a great source as mentioned above. It will give as many as 12-15 guns all with the same serial number in a different platform. It's interesting to go there. The real world sale prices of course and a great source of info is GB. It's what people are PAYING for these items. That is the real Worth.
