IMG_4912.JPG IMG_5613.JPG IMG_4903.JPG OK, so I've been setting on this car waiting on my friend to buy his unicorn. He continues to say he wants it but has done nothing to move forward. I have things I need to do so the car is for sale. I really hate to sell it primarily because it's his dream car, it is a 1 of 1 car and the damn thing was built on his exact birthday.... enough of that
This is a 1969 sports roof no tape ferformance package mustang. The color is Indian fire and is the original color. 351w auto black interior with bucket seats. Photo of marti report is attached. The car does have bugs but I feel it is priced very reasonable for what it is. I have the original ignition, but did upgrade to HEI. It is a very solid car with a LOT of potential.
I will post here for $22k for a little while then it's moving to an auction site.

Girl but I decided I like her too much at the moment, so looking at what LNIB kidneys are going for. I mean, it’s been used for less than half it’s expectancy, so it is LNIB

Nice. I hope that you get what you're looking for (or more if it's auctioned!)

When I was 18 I had a '69 Mach 1 with a 351C 4 barrel motor and 4 speed. After I reworked the engine and suspension it would do 12.9 in the quarter mile. It was a bit of a dog off of the line but when you hit around 4,000 rpm those "baby rat motor" heads started flowing and the mid range and top end was exhilarating, to say the least.

I sold it when I bought this 69 vette. That's my boss and his son next to his SCCA car on the left, and me and my new (to me) vette on the right.

Sorry for the hijack - brought back some great memories. I don't think that I have any pix of my Mach 1.

Im sorry, but I dont care how you slice it its a used kidney. Statistics indicate that in the first half of its shelf life a kidney filters the majority of beer and liquor that it will ever filter. Im sure the warranty has expired too...

I think he's looking to sell it sooner than later.

But since you mentioned it, what's your standard rate? Asking for a friend.

I usually work using the honor system. But with you guys I am asking $22K each up front. I'm just trying to get enough money to buy the Mustang then I am closing shop again.

So we're acknowledging that it was not an effort and your question was really just a random question "joke" for the sake of asking a question? Then in turn, said question was answered just as randomly and jokingly as it was asked?

I've gotten most of them worked out.... and will likely have them all worked out soon.
    1) ignition issues causing the car to diesel... changed to HEI distributor and fixed it.
    2) had rocker arm noise... I found that one of them was actually rubbing the valve cover... replaced the valve cover with taller one.
    3) carb loading up when idling... O-ring for float adjustment split and was fouling the rear float. When chasing this gremlin, I found the power valve had crack in its diaphragm.... cleaned debris out of meter block, replaced O ring and diaphragm.

Remaining items.... brakes do not feel as strong as they did 20 years ago but that may be due to being used to modern brakes now... I'm going to bleed and check them out good next weekend.... it does stop fine.. just feel a bit spongie... interior squeaks that are driving me bat shit crazy but can't find.
    That's it.
I will be putting 150-200 miles on it this week so I should have all the mechanical things worked out... most problems came from sitting up and common bugs from pulling and having an engine rebuilt. Motor was built by little and Jenkins about 5+ years ago and just simply has not been ran enough.
