I'm the second owner technically. Old man in Winston Salem bought it new. Son had it in a garage when he died. Will crank and run. Tranny is a slow to engage....might just need fluid. Carb needs adjustment too, or throwing out and a new one slapped on there. Factory air, factory power steering, factory power brakes, 350 SBC, 4 barrel. Truck has a little rust, but for the price of replacement metal from Classic Industries..... its really not a big deal.

    Clean title in hand.

    Looking for 3000.00.

    Front disc brake or drum?
Does it have tires that are shorter than what would have been original height ? It kind of looks lowered, but hard to tell from the pictures.

It does have smaller tires. The old man put some smaller tires on it. They will need to be replaced soon. I think it has drums....Id have to look again. I literally bought the truck, drove it from the guys house, drove it up and down the road a few times and its been parked since last summer.

I think 72 was the first year for disc brakes.....I think. I also think the first year for vent window too. Good deal on an air truck! GLWS Sneaky!

Nope, my 53 chevy truck has vent windows, so has my 46 Hudson Pickup.
You are correct about the disc brakes. They started on the Chevy trucks late 71 for the 72 year model.
Nice truck. Hard to find with factory a/c and p/b and p/s.

So a few folks wanted more pics. Drove it for the first time in 6 months. Doors shut well, no issues with structure of cab. 20190205_125546.jpg 20190205_125528.jpg 20190205_125446.jpg

Some one buy this. Slam it down by cutting the springs. Toss a junkyard ls3 truck motor with a cam and a 4l60 and drive the balls off it.
