1980 Flash Gordon

Is this the first time you've seen it?

It is truly a classic.

I found out that’s Queen did the soundtrack.
The only other movie they did the soundtrack for was Highlander.
That’s pretty cool.

Such a cheesy film. The special effects budget was about $200. The rest of it went to physchedelics and cocaine.

But I loved it as a kid, a true classic

They didn’t do the entire soundtrack, but Queen did have a song on the Iron Eagle soundtrack.

My 13 year old daughter loves this movie. Got it for her for Christmas this year. She's still finds it amazing when I tell her I saw it in the theater when it was first released.

I know I'm not the only one who saw Flash re-runs from the '30's, with the space ship that spews sparks like a jet, but the sound you hear is a radial engine prop plane.

That's why the re-make was so cheesy, because the original was, too.

My mother wasn't paying attention at the video rental place and grabbed that by mistake because us kids were huge Flash Gordon fans (I want to be General Klytus when I grow up).

We didn't get to see much if it lol

Wearing a Flash Gordon t-shirt right now actually. Present from my older brother on Christmas. Awesome movie
