I was all about it, adding a Disney trip in there, staying at my dads part of the time but sadly I will have to pass on this one.

I had to finance a newer vehicle this year and we bought a boat so I would like to pay a chuck of both of those down before I drop several grand on a match/vacation.

I have to spend enough just to shoot in NC being I am on the coast and the closest match is around a 2 hour drive at a minimum (besides my tiny 3 stage local match once a month).

My wife did say I should go alone but I would rather save the close to a grand it would cost me to do so.

Hope to see yall at a match soon!

I heard excellent things about the facility from some locals.

But... 12 stages in a day... for an area match? Definitely on the small side. CGGR's level 2 this month had 10 (I don't really count the one-shot stage...), and I'd guess their level 2 in the spring will have the same.

Also looking like I'll be driving to Florida for IPSC Nationals and again for USPSA. Three trips to Florida in a year might be too much for me. Definitely not a slam dunk.

More than I'm willing to spend to demonstrate I'm on the low end of mediocre.

CGGR is doing another Lvl 2 in the spring?
Lack of notice was the only complaint I heard about the T1...

With that kind of money being asked, prize table should be awarded via the Lewis System.

Compared to the cost of hotels, gas, ammo, time off work, etc, any prize you could get is going to be minor. I just sign up for matches, and I end up walking away with anything, cool. But the competition is the point, not raffling off goodies.

Exactly. I hear 3 gun offers some decent prizes...

I doubt that I will be making it this year. I gots me a new GAT that needs to get paid for. I was thinking of a go fund me page to help finance it.
