So I have a 22/45 with a .22 can. I’m probably in the minority but I don’t like the Ruger. And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that still 12 years later, I can’t reassemble it on the first try after cleaning…
Never shot the Buckmark and didn’t realize Sig stopped making Mosquito. Any other .22 options out there that perform well with a can and have the reliability of the Ruger?

Ruger mark iv
s&w victory
glock 44
taurus tx22

all 4 of these run very well suppressed for me and are not ammo picky. The Glock 44 is a gem but maybe not going to win everyone over. had a Buckmark and mosquito. the buckmark felt awkward. The mosquito was junk.

for the win, checkout Volquartsen’s pistols. I have their mark iii clone and it’s a tremendous rimfire pistol. Their mark iv clone would be my choice nowadays. Easier to field strip.

Didn’t realize Glock had a .22 pistol. Any cycling issues with the can? Also what’s the comparable size to a larger caliber Glock?

Why don’t you like it?
Does it still have the factory trigger?

My Beretta Neos, 4" & 6" run fine, Mosquito, GSG Firefly, M&P 22, Beretta M9 (15 rds), KelTec CP33, and Taurus TX 22.

Thee is a Mosquito in the FS Handgun.

I too had trouble with my Ruger Mk III, watched a YT video by a 12yr old girl and that showed me how to reassemble.

I am a die hard Ruger MK2 fan, but looking for threaded guns I ran the whole field. The M&P Compact is my choice.

Much like @7.62 Sam I am a huge Mk 2 fan. I've also shot the 22/45 (Mk 3) and G44 suppressed. The 22/45 is a much better experience. The G44 is very light and, even with the suppressor in the medium configuration, it's still front heavy. Ruger magazine performance is FAR superior to the Glock. The Glock barrel is not cut to accept 1/2x28 threads so you'll need an adapter. With the 45 gr ammo in the pic below, the Mk 3 makes the same noise as the staple gun used to hang targets.

The Glock is easier to disassemble. The 22/45 frame is polymer so the bolt pin "grips" it and makes it hard to remove - noticeably more than the all metal Mk IIs. But if takedown is your issue then you'll be much happier with a suppressed Mk 4 than the Glock.

Nice collection.
I’ve a MKII Slabside & a MKIII that I had threaded. It’s my favorite gun to shoot. I highly suggest the Volquartzen firing group. Use the MKIII, get the MKII kit.
Standing I’m dinging a 10” plate at 175 yards.

I've had a couple of MK3 22/45s and now have a threaded Victory. I like the Victory better and so does my friend who has a MK4 LITE. Purely subjective. The Ruger has a much larger range of aftermarket options.

Have a ruger mkIV 22/45 silcencer co edition with a 3 inch barrel.
an FN502.
and a POF PSG (uses Ruger 10/22 mags).

Run them with an Occlus Rugged suppressor.

All are excellent 22’s.
