Just some useless information that I did to see how different ammo shot in side by side comparison. All were shot with my Savage Mark II at 50 yards. I shot a group of 5 with each of the 4 brands of ammo and did not change anything on the scope. I aimed at the center dot on the upper ring of each target. I was surprised how much lower the Eley shot, but it grouped the best.

The main reason Eley was low is it’s a standard velocity ... about 200 FPS slower than the S&B or Aguila ...

Also may want to try shooting more than just a five shot group. Maybe two or three five shot groups and see what does best. Different rimfire ammo uses different lubes, and it takes a few shots for the rifle to settle in to that particular one in my experience.

Try the Aguila standard velocity if you get a chance. It out shoots eley in my gun.
