Police say Wagshol made an alarming Facebook post where he showed interest in committing a mass shooting.

"What I understand is that he didn't make any comments on Facebook, but there may have been other memes, as they call them, that he might have reposted," says Crosland.

FBI investigators say the Norwalk Police Department received a tip about Wagshol's activity from a concerned citizen. The joint investigation began after the FBI received a tip that Wagshol was trying to buy high capacity magazines from out of state.

Police say all the weapons recovered from the home are legally owned and registered to Wagshol's father, but that the 22-year-old had access to them. Investigators also recovered body armor with a titanium plate, camouflage shirt, pant and belt, ballistic helmet, tactical gloves, camouflage bag and computers.

Are you guys paying attention yet? Your “pro-gun, Second Amendment cop buddy” will be the one who comes and takes them, will haul you to the court and stand idly by while they impose excessive bail and violate your Rights simply for exercising Rights protected by Amendment the First.

Technically he’s probably being held for exercising rights protected by Amendment the Second. State law prohibits high capacity magazines, he admits to obtaining and possessing them, from here the court has to sort it out.

Without seeing what he posted it’s impossible to guess if he should be held for a psych eval.

Sounds like he bought 30rd mags out of state and brought them back illegally. Probably screwed on that. The rest is BS...

OK, he may be a nut or not. Not enough story yet to make a sensible judgment. BUT, here's what I see, so far:

"Police recovered a .40-caliber handgun from inside the home, a .22-caliber rifle, several rifle modifications and scopes with a laser and a cache of ammo."

A pistol and a .22 rifle. Ruger 10/22 or a M&P-15 type????

OK, I've reposted some sick shit about mass shooting myself. I have a sick and dark sense of humor. So if they go after him for the repost, are the original authors of posters going to be hauled in too???

"Concerned citizen"? pissed off ex??? pissed off neighbor?????

Legal weapons. BODY ARMOR, AGAIN. SO WHAT.

"I drove to Halstead New Hampshire from Norwalk CT in about 3 hours to acquire 30 round magazines and ammunition to circumvent what I viewed as an unconstitutional restriction on the second amendment. I purchased 4 30 round magazines and 120 rounds of 300 Blackout ammunition for firearm training. I plan on building an 80% rifle kit which I purchased online from Ceratec, in California. I plan on completing the 80% firearm at my friend Alex's house in Easton. I did not have the intention of committing any mass shootings at all whatsoever."

He seems rational as me. Drove to buy items that he thinks is unconstitutional to be restricted from. He build's off of 80% lower. Wonder what "part" they can ban out of this story???? I'm "80%" confident I can guess it correctly.

Right now, I'm smelling bullshit. BUT, need to see more"evidence" to make a true judgement.

Reposting an effing meme? Are you serious? No threats. Just “showed an interest” in. Most memes are mockery. Use this as an excuse to steal his and another person’s private property? Unless significant evidence is produced to the contrary, I call BULL on this and say it’s noting more than the next stage of escalation in the attempt to disarm people.

I’ll keep most of my thought to myself, but one stay the hell away from Farcebook and two read your Solzhenitsyn.

And there in lies the problem with Red Flag laws. Anyone can anonymously call it in and then without a hearing, someone's property is confiscated, a violation of the 5th Amendment:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Solzhenitsyn did more to crumble communism than Reagan. He was a proponent of the promised utopia, until they locked him up as well. His 1978 Harbard speech.- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WuVG8SnxxCM

These "red flag" laws are a prime example of the problematic way law is handled in this country. Some stupid politicians pass something, that even a fifth grader could tell you is a blatant violation of what is supposed to be the supreme law of the land. It's assumed to be valid regardless and the enforcers go about violently inflicting it and it isn't until some stupid court declares that it's wrong, which requires someone claiming harm and at great personal expense, do we even begin to question it. That doesn't even get us to the point of activist judges who don't give two bits about right and wrong but think they have power to enact their desired agenda.

This country is circling the toilet drain. Unless something changes and quickly, it's going have a different kind of constitutional.

Thank you for posting those links.
Nope, I appreciate you mentioning it.
I only know about Solzhenitsyn because of Jordan Peterson, you sent me on a g00gle search and I found an updated version is on audio as well. I’ll have it loaded for a few days of driving this week.
It’s odd, I graduated HD in ‘84, grew up with the Red nuke threat, and he was never mentioned in any history classes.

Same here. I graduated HS in 90 and never heard of him either.

Along those lines you might like this 'Skipped in School', the first of which is about the Holodomor, Stalin's attempt to purge the Ukrainian Kulaks by starving them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSlzFQi5c_hltNYVLdArUmVWv-Mk0pGMn

I am honestly surprised that Rebecca's channel hasn't been "de platformed" by Google the Great yet.

Every last ounce of this is pure BS. If there isn’t more to this story then we’ve truly arrived at the era of thought police. If you can get arrested and property stolen for posting a meme then we are in serious trouble.
This will not end well.

Based on how this is written, they found:

1. .40 cal handgun
2. .22 cal rifle
3. several rifle modifications
4. scopes with a laser (or maybe scopes and a laser?)
5. a cache of ammo

They didn’t say a modified rifle...but a rifle, and several rifle modifications. How’s that work? :D

Think of all the people they will round up, and all the guns they will confiscate, when they start looking into folks who "show an interest in revolution/secession/protest against the US Government." It will happen after the next Bundy-type event.

I wish I could play, but that canoe accident seriously depleted my cache. I'm a .22 rifleman now!
