224 bullets for self defense load

I saw hornady has some critical defense 73gr FTx ammo but they don’t sell the bullets for loading.

I’d rather not pay $18 for 20 rounds if I can load.

What’s a good bullet for self defense ? I’d like to get a 100 ct box and load up a few mags

M193 let LC load it for you! If you just have to load some of use the federal fusion 62 gr.

You talking about factory ammo?

Just found 62gr Speer gold dots for $20/100. I can load them cheap and should be great for stopping the bad guys if they have to

Winchester RA556b
64gr Gold Dots
69-77 gr OTM
Any varmint bullet
55gr soft points

All of those work well, and better than any FMJ out of a sub 20" AR
